We’re expanding and looking for a motivated, experienced Occupational Therapist to join us and help shape the next chapter of Find Your Way.
As a senior member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and actively contribute to strategic decisions as we expand. Your skills and experience
Clinical Expertise: Experience working with both paediatric and adult NDIS participants, including neurodiverse and neurological clients. Familiarity in any of the following areas is preferred:
Children, Youth, and Adult Therapy Services
Mental Health therapy services
Assistive Technology assessments, applications and instruction
Functional Capacity Assessments
Home and Living Assessments
Sensory Assessments
Home modifications
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with internal and external personnel and participants
Technical Skills: High computer literacy – we use Outlook, MS365, Teams and SPLOSE.
Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team both in an office environment, and in participants environments.
Adaptable: Flexible to adjust to varying client needs and demands.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA
Minimum of 3 years in a clinical or community-based OT role
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Working knowledge of the NDIS is preferred
Current valid Drivers License and ability to work across Geelong and Colac regions
Police check
Working With Children’s Check (or wiling to obtain)
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
